Järvenkylä farm is located in the heart of Sauvo, about 45 kilometres from Turku. Berry growing has long traditions on the farm, where strawberries have been cultivated since 1980. Today, the 130-hectare farm grows strawberries, peas, raspberries, currants, corn, gooseberries and sunflowers.

Suvi-Niityn Marjamaat produces Finnish strawberries and raspberries in the third generation. Instead of traditional open-field growing, the berries now grow protected under cover. Their goal is to produce Finnish berries that are as high-quality and flavourful as possible.
